01 Coaching

Three ways to work together

There are three formats and one approach: establish what is limiting your game before deciding what to correct. What changes is the time we have to do it. Details of each option.

Private lesson

To work on an identified point, or to check what has held since the last session.

  • One hour, one to one
  • At G.Spot Golf Marrakech or on the range
  • One work point, with the number that goes with it

The half day

To finally know what is limiting your game and where to start. It's the session I recommend first.

  • Four hours, one to one
  • TrackMan, CAPTO and ground force measurement
  • A written summary and two or three priorities

The camp

Several days built around your game, alone or in a small group. There are two ways to join, depending on whether you prefer a set date or your own.

  • Seven fixed-date sessions in Morocco, GGM travel package
  • In Marrakech, tailor-made, three to five days
  • Private, or for three or four players

In session

Performance isn't guessed, it's measured.

Numbers don't replace feel, they check it. It's the only way to know whether what you changed really changed anything.

02 The process

Understand, work, verify

The sequence is the same whether the session lasts an hour or three days. That is how we know, at the end, whether the work has paid off.

  1. 01

    Understand

We measure first and talk afterwards. The first session establishes what your club really does at impact, and what your body does to get it there. Nothing is corrected until that is established.

  2. 02

    Work

We set two or three priorities, not twelve. Every drill has a reason you can explain and a feel to link it to. That is what makes the work repeatable once you are on your own.

  3. 03

    Verify

We measure again. If the number has moved, the movement has changed. If it hasn't, the lead was wrong and we change it. That is also what measurement allows, and it often saves the most time.

03 The technology

Three instruments, three different questions

None of these devices corrects a swing. Each answers a precise question, and the answer guides the work.

The TrackMan radar

What we observe
Club head speed and direction, face angle and club path at impact, angle of attack and low point, then ball speed, height and curvature.
Why it matters to you
A ball's starting direction depends mainly on the face angle at impact, and its curve on the difference between the face and the club path. Until those two values are known, you are correcting a ball flight without knowing which one causes it.
How I use it
I start from the ball flight you see, trace it back to the two or three values that explain it, and work only on those. The rest waits its turn.

04 The journey

Alvin Pivaty on a golf course in Marrakech

I discovered golf in a video game

The swing came later, and measurement later still. Maybe that is why I have never separated the pleasure of playing from the urge to understand why a shot flies the way it does.

  • The player. He played the American junior tour, became French junior champion, joined the French national team and the French Golf Federation's elite programme, then turned professional on the Alps Tour and the Pro Golf Tour.
  • The coach. He went from French clubs to Marrakech, earned the title of PGA France Master Professional and trained the Federation's coaches in sensor-based putting analysis.
  • The builder. He opened Morocco's first indoor golf centre and then, with his company Addon Golf, led the digitalisation of the Royal Academy of Rabat.

05 Practical questions

What I'm asked most often

Where do sessions take place?

Measurement sessions take place at G.Spot Golf Marrakech, Complexe Commercial Cherifa, Km 3 route d'Amizmiz, Marrakech, where the full measurement set-up is available whatever the weather. Play is worked on outside, on the range and on the region's courses.

What does the price of a camp include?

It covers the coaching only. Accommodation, transport and green fees are not included and remain at your expense.

Do I need to be a good player already?

No. Measurement is as useful to a beginner as to a low handicapper: it shows what is really happening, whatever the level. The content of the session changes; the approach does not.

How does booking work?

You write on WhatsApp or by email, describing your situation and availability. We agree on the format and the date together. The form on this page simply prepares your message: it doesn't book or charge anything.

Which technologies are used in a session?

We use the TrackMan radar for ball flight and club, the CAPTO sensor for putting, and ground force measurement for how you use the ground. They are chosen according to what your game needs: not every one is used in every session.

Will a camp guarantee a lower handicap?

No, and nobody can honestly promise that. What a camp guarantees is that you will know what is limiting your game, which values the work focuses on, and how to check for yourself whether your swing has changed.
